PWM will showcase at the leading trade fair how modern service stations are becoming more digital, efficient, and impactful.
The requirements for service stations are constantly evolving. In addition to traditional price displays, digital content, flexible advertising opportunities, and modern EV charging solutions are becoming increasingly important. This is exactly where PWM comes in.
Connecting Content Intelligently
At UNITI expo 2026 in Stuttgart, the leading trade fair for the service station and car wash industries, we will showcase how price, information, and advertising content can be seamlessly combined. The result: greater visibility on the forecourt, more modern customer engagement, and additional revenue opportunities.
Digital Solutions from a Single Source
Under the theme “Fuel Station of the Future,” we will present a range of solutions at our exhibition stand in Stuttgart, covering digital price displays, EV charging, digital advertising surfaces, and cloud-based content management.
Visitors will gain valuable insights into how hardware, software, and content can work together seamlessly. In addition, they can explore new ideas for modern forecourt and shop design, solutions that combine strong design with greater flexibility in daily operations.

PWM sets a new standard for EV charging visibility with Made‑in‑Germany pricing technology.
As e-mobility matures, one challenge continues to frustrate both drivers and charge point operators: transparent, accessible pricing. Today, most EV users depend on apps or EMSPs to check tariffs, unaware that on‑site Ad‑Hoc rates can differ or that essential information isn’t always displayed. In an ecosystem shaped by multiple providers, roaming partners and varied tariff models, maintaining consistent pricing clarity can be difficult.
With more than 40 years of experience in fuel price signage and over two decades of LED display innovation, PWM is now bringing its proven outdoor technology to the next major frontier: EV charging price displays designed for mobility hubs. Built in Bergneustadt and engineered to perform 24/7 in any weather, these displays deliver clear visibility for EV drivers while providing the operational flexibility operators need.
At the heart of this solution is a complete digital signage ecosystem: hardware, cloud software, content management, advertising options and interface integrations, all from a single source. PWM’s dooh-it platform enables real-time updates, crossselling opportunities and new revenue streams during charging sessions, while the TRACK Control System offers remote pricing, diagnostics, and utilization analytics.
Crucially, PWM supports all major OCPI versions, 2.1.1, 2.2.1 and the AFIR aligned 2.3.0, ensuring futureproof compatibility with any backend. This open-interface approach allows tariff data to flow directly from operator systems to PWM displays, providing instant, reliable onsite price transparency. Whether through OCPI or PWM’s own API options, the result is the same: a smart, automated and compliant pricing experience that benefits drivers and energy providers alike.
And while pricing totems remain uncommon in Europe’s EV landscape, the shift is already underway. Mobility hubs are becoming destinations, and operators increasingly recognize that visibility matters. PWM is actively involved in several forward-looking projects across the region, including an upcoming initiative in Austria, where public funding programs for larger EV charging parks increasingly emphasize clear on-site price visibility.
This growing focus on transparency aligns with the European AFIR regulation, which requires charging prices to be clearly communicated to drivers. As pricing models become more complex, visible price displays help operators meet regulatory expectations while giving EV drivers the clarity they expect at the point of charging.
PWM is ready to offer tailor-made solutions and interfaces for this specific market.
From high accuracy LED monoliths to fully integrated smart charging displays, PWM is ready to equip Europe’s charging infrastructure with the clarity and quality it deserves.
